Our organic extra virgin olive oil is produced using a purely mechanical process involving the cold-pressing of olives ripened in Greece. This creates a mild yet aromatic oil suitable for a wide variety of dishes. Olive oil is an essential ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine and is used to prepare many cold and hot dishes. It enhances the flavour of starters, salads, oven-baked vegetables, and boiled and stewed dishes from the Mediterranean and Oriental cuisines. It can also be used for gentle frying at temperatures up to 180 °C. Our olives are harvested in a bird-friendly manner, with no super-intensive night-time harvesting methods employed. Hand harvesting is used alongside small combs and shakers. Farmers take nests into consideration. They maintain and strengthen biodiversity in their fields.
Preparation
This mild, organic, extra virgin olive oil is a must-have for your pantry. This way, you'll always have a supply of high-quality olive oil at home for antipasti, salad dressings, cooking, baking and frying. Top tip: try dipping your favourite freshly baked bread in the oil or drizzling it over the top, either on its own or with freshly ground pepper and a pinch of salt. It tastes like a holiday!
