Gelling and binding agent, pure plant-based alternative to gelatin. Suitable for thickening sauces, creams, and pie fillings.
Preparation
Stir Agar Agar into cold liquid, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. For cold mixtures: Stir Agar Agar with cold liquid in a small pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Gradually add and stir in the cold ingredients. Agar-Agar only solidifies when cooling, the optimal solidification is achieved in the refrigerator. Dosage: 1 tablespoon (2g) corresponds to approximately 5 sheets of gelatin, 4g to 0.5l liquid/fruit yields a firm jelly.
