Concentrated juice from the Salmiana agave of Mexico. An alternative sweetener with a very mild aroma and a slightly malty-caramel flavour.
Preparation
Agave syrup has a slightly higher sweetening power than sugar (100g syrup = 125-150g sugar), but has fewer calories than household sugar. Suitable for sweetening desserts, muesli, fruit preparations, drinks, baked goods, etc.
