Concentrated juice from the Agave Salmiana of Mexico. An alternative sweetener with a very mild aroma and a slightly malty-caramel flavour.
Preparation
Agave syrup has a slightly higher sweetening power than sugar (100g syrup = 125-150g sugar), but contains fewer calories than household sugar. Ideal for sweetening desserts, muesli, fruit preparations, beverages, baked goods, etc.
