Product information "Organic Brown Mountain Lentils (Gourmet) 5kg"
Dried mountain lentils with a firm texture. The lentils are brown speckled, round, small, and flat, with a delicate and nutty flavour. Mountain lentils are particularly hearty and remain delightfully firm even after extended cooking. This makes them ideal for casseroles, salads, and patties. The lentils have a low fat content, are a good source of protein, and have a high fibre content.
Preparation
Rinse the lentils under running water and cook them in twice to three times the amount of water for 30 to 40 minutes. Season the lentils to taste during cooking.
