Product information "Organic gourmet brown mountain lentils"
Dried brown mountain lentils with a firm texture. These lentils are brown or speckled, round, small, and flat with a delicate, nutty flavour. Particularly hearty, they remain delightfully firm even after extended cooking. Ideal for casseroles, salads, and patties, they boast a low fat content, provide a good source of protein, and are high in fibre.
Preparation
Rinse the lentils under running water and cook in double to triple the amount of water for 30 to 40 minutes. Season the lentils to taste during cooking.
