Cocoa butter is obtained from cocoa beans. The fermented and roasted beans are ground into cocoa mass. By pressing, the cocoa butter is separated and desodorised. This creates a nearly odourless and tasteless edible fat, broken here into irregular pieces (chunks). Cocoa butter is used to make chocolate, but it also heats well and is therefore ideal for frying and baking.
