Fine organic rolled oats are a whole grain product, as the entire grain, including the germ and outer layers, is retained during production. They are a source of protein and rich in fibre. A wonderfully versatile ingredient for sweet and savoury dishes: for those who enjoy a delightful muesli or porridge, for baked goods such as bread, rolls, (oat) biscuits, bars, as well as for patties, burgers, soups and casseroles.
Preparation
Preparation as porridge: Bring to the boil with about 5 times the amount of water, milk or plant-based alternative, stir and leave to stand for 3-5 minutes. Add more flakes or liquid to taste. As Overnight Oats, simply prepare the evening before, place in the refrigerator and enjoy a quick breakfast in the morning. Both versions taste great with a topping of fresh or dried fruit, compote, nuts and seeds, providing a varied breakfast.
