Our sugar beet syrup is made in Germany from domestic sugar beets. The beets are washed, crushed and steamed. The resulting sugar beet juice is filtered and thickened. It is thick, dark, slightly sweet and malty. It is suitable for making dark biscuits such as gingerbread and wholemeal biscuits, but also as a topping for pancakes and waffles and as a spread
