This sweetness gives the strong tea a pleasant complexity and balance that makes your tea time an exceptional flavour experience. Traditionally, this tea is enjoyed with Kluntjes (white rock candy) and Wulkje (a cloud of cream). First put the rock candy in a cup and enjoy the crackling sound when you pour the freshly brewed tea over it. Then add the cream to the tea. Real East Frisians enjoy their tea "unstirred". Fresh jasmine blossoms are mixed with green tea and gently heated. During this process, the jasmine flowers release their intense flavour into the green tea leaves. The flowers are then removed from the tea, resulting in a green tea with a unique floral aroma. Let yourself be enchanted.Preparation: Bring the water to the boil and allow to cool to 80°C. Place 1 heaped teaspoon of jasmine tea per 100ml of water in a sieve or tea filter and pour the water over it. The infusion time is initially only 2 minutes. Jasmine tea can be infused several times (up to 3 times).
