Preparation
Soak the beans overnight and then rinse under running water. Cook 1 cup of beans with ca. 3 cups of water for about 1,5 hour at low heat. Then salt. Popular as a well seasoned Mediterranean starter with tomatoes, also for soups, purees and pan dishes.
