We only use European almonds! They have a distinctly nuttier and more aromatic taste compared to overseas almonds. The almond kernels have light to medium brown skin and are mostly 10 to 14 mm in size. An ounce (approx. 28g) contains about 27 to 30 pieces. Almonds are a great source of fibre and protein.
