We use the label ‘Alternatively packaged’ to identify products whose packaging does not use conventional plastic. Instead, materials such as paper, cardboard or compostable films are used.

Organic Bulgur made from durum wheat. The durum wheat grains are steamed, dried, and then crushed. This process allows vitamins and minerals from the outer layers to penetrate into the grain's core, creating a versatile ingredient with a short cooking time. Bulgur is also a source of protein and fiber. It brings a touch of the Orient to pan dishes, soups, stews, fillings, and patties. It pairs wonderfully with vegetables and legumes, and can also be used to prepare sweet dishes or breakfast meals with fine (dried) fruits and nuts.

Organic Wheat Gluten from Europe 5kg, also for Seitan
Gluten is a sticky protein and is one of the allergens that must be declared. This wheat gluten powder can be used as a stabilising baking ingredient and is ideal for making seitan. Mix wheat gluten with the desired dry spices, add water and liquid seasonings such as soy sauce if desired, and knead well. One part gluten, one part water. If the dough is too firm, add a little more water. Now choose the desired cooking method: boil, bake or fry.

Organic White Lupins Whole 2x2.5kg Germany
Organic sweet lupins, with their white, kidney-shaped seeds, are a native legume grown in Germany. The hardy plant, which is often grown due to its soil-improving properties, binds a lot of nitrogen with its long roots and therefore requires no fertilisation. Lupins have a slightly nutty taste and are similar in their nutrient composition to soybeans, but contain significantly less fat. They are very high in protein and contain all essential amino acids, making lupin protein particularly valuable. Their high fibre content also makes them a valuable ingredient not only in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. The whole beans are suitable for stews, antipasti, curries or finely seasoned as a bread spread. Crushed as Organic Sweet Lupin Flour, they are also a popular ingredient for Bolognese and burgers. Did you know that not all lupins are edible? Only the sweet lupin is suitable for human consumption. Its wild relatives contain toxic bitter substances, the alkaloids.
